Oscar Parker, Jr.
Oscar Larry “Ozzie” Parker, Jr., 77, of Chickamauga, died on Friday, February 27, 2015 in a local hospital.
He was a native of Chattanooga and retired from Lockheed Aircraft following 30 years of service. Mr. Parker enjoyed fishing and traveling and was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his step-daughter, Doris Barfield, brother, Doyle Parker, and sisters, Mary Evelyn Sellers, Joyce Lee Worley, and Anna Edgile.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Nell Parker; children, Jeanne Cagle, Douglasville, GA, Oscar L. Parker III, Dayton, Denice Fitzpatrick, Marietta, GA, Sherice Parker, Tuscaloosa, AL, Kimberly Savage, Marietta, GA, and Douglas Parker, Spring City, TN; step-children, Doug Cooper, Canton, GA, David Cooper, Cherry Log, GA, Gary Cooper, Taylorsville, GA, and Sherry Chilton, Calhoun, GA; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 2, at 1 p.m. at King Cemetery, Jamestown, TN, with Pastor Keith Linder officiating.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 1, from 4–8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
