CCA Guard Lucas Lorenzo Collins Arrested On Multiple Drug Charges

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics and Special Operations Division in conjunction with the Alcohol Beverage Commission and Drug Enforcement Agency concluded a two-month investigation with the arrest of Lucas Lorenzo Collins, 25, of 6114 Welworth Ave., East Ridge.

 

Collins, who was employed at Correctional Corporation of America (CCA) as a guard, was stopped by detectives as he arrived for work and found to be in possession of contraband.

He was charged with two counts of smuggling contraband into a penal institution, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

Collins was transported to the Hamilton County Jail where an additional search was conducted. During the search, detectives found additional contraband concealed in his clothing.  He was booked into the jail and released on a $31,000 bond.
