Michael John Ellins, 71, of Chattanooga, died on Sunday, March 1, 2015.
Michael was born and raised in England. After school in England, he joined the Royal Army where he served his apprenticeship. He moved to the United States in 1980, and lived in Florida and various other U.S. cities before settling in Chattanooga, where he worked as a restaurant manager.
He was preceded in death by his father, Sydney Albert William Ellins; mother, Christina Margaret Mary McLaughlin; and two brothers.
Surviving are his daughter, Anne Little-Phillips; son, Jason Paul (Catherine) Ellins; grandchildren, Sydney, Scotty, Rylee, Zach and Alex; great-grandson, Mason; siblings, Janet (Eugene) LeFloch, Jennifer (Dennis) Reinertsen and Geoffrey (Abbi) Ellins; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
All services will be private.
Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 404 South Moore Road.
