  • Tuesday, March 10, 2015

Each year GACCE provides scholarships to help Chamber of Commerce professionals broaden their knowledge of the profession and expand their careers.  At the 2015 GACCE Staff Development Conference held last week in Valdosta, Ga., the association provided 35 scholarships to deserving professionals.  The winners were announced at the event’s scholarship dinner March 4.

Glenda Jones, interim director and director of programs and events for the Walker County Chamber of Commerce in Rock Spring, Ga., was a scholarship winner.

Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis based on the applicant’s perceived dedication and commitment to the Chamber profession, and the applicant’s history of participation in GACCE functions and programs.

Three scholarships were awarded for the GACCE Volunteer Leader Conference (November 2015).
