Taste Of Ooltewah And Harrison Set For April 26

Benefits Local Elementary Schools

  • Tuesday, March 10, 2015

The Ooltewah Harrison Education Foundation, also known as D9, will present the Taste of Ooltewah and Harrison on Sunday, April 26, from 1-4 p.m. at Cambridge Square.

D9's motto is Eat, Shop, Live, and Educate in Ooltewah and Harrison and this tradition is a way to put the motto into reality. The Taste of Ooltewah and Harrison provides an opportunity for people to sample and buy 30 plus locally owned restaurants' menu items and provides an opportunity for locally owned specialty shops to market their store to potential buyers.

This tradition also benefits the five local public elementary schools, which are Harrison Elementary, Ooltewah Elementary School, Snow Hill Elementary, Wallace A. Smith Elementary and Wolftever Creek Elementary.

Adult tickets are $10 for 10 tickets. Children's tickets are $5 for five tickets. Each restaurant vendor will have a "taste" sample portion selected off their menu for two tickets. The option to buy full food menu items will be available.

For more information, please contact Miranda Perez at 883-5633.
