GPS students after the Superlatives assembly.
Say the word superlatives to most high school seniors, and they will think “Most Likely to Succeed” or “Wittiest,” identifications featured in the yearbook. And while GPS seniors do confer those titles on their classmates, they also announce Silly Superlatives, descriptive phrases for girls and their habits, preferences, and perhaps destinies.
The award-winning Kaleidoscope, the GPS yearbook, announced Superlatives at a recent assembly, and the traditional titles were presented to Anjali Chandra, Most Likely to Succeed; Ellie Haskins, Friendliest; Mackenzie Hobbs, Most Dependable; Rachel Hudson, Wittiest; Nia Sanders, Most Respected; Anne Miller Welborn, Most Creative; Savannah Williams, Most Athletic; and Meg Winchester, Most Artistic.
Silly Superlatives were graciously received by Hobbs, who also won the Most Likely to Work at GPS designation; Lexi Taliaferro, Most Likely to Own a Sun Tan City Franchise; Kara Ware, Class Clown; Mary Claire Graham, Worst Senioritis; Katherine Ward, Most Likely to Get Married First; Brittany Davis, Most Changed Since Coming to GPS; Kristen Myers, Most Likely to Become a Cat Lady; and Emma Jane Sims and Courtney Bladen, Best Pair, with Sims also receiving Most Likely to Have Her Own Television Show.
