Rhea County basketball star Amber Levi has been selected to play in the BCAT/TACA East-West girls basketball game on Saturday at Riverdale High School in Murfreesboro. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. CDT.
Levi scored 1,500 points in her career with the Lady Golden Eagles and earned the District 6-AAA Player of the Year this season. She has signed with Bryan College.
Rhea County, coached by Shane Johnston, finished 22-11 this season and 22-9 in Levi’s junior year – the only back-to-back 20-win seasons in school history.
Admission to the game is $5.
The East squad will be coached by Cumberland County’s Radhika Miller and Rossview’s Justin Woods.
