The Ooltewah Invitational baseball tournament begins tonight when the Owls host Father Ryan at 7 p.m. at A.C. Bud Ball Field.
Weather may play a part in the tourney, just as it did for the entire first week of baseball and softball action.
There is a 40 percent chance of rain tonight (Wednesday), 90 percent on Thursday and 60 percent on Friday. The tourney wraps up on Saturday.
Thursday’s full schedule has nine games and will be played at Ooltewah, Bradley Central, Chattanooga Central, Soddy-Daisy and Red Bank high schools.
Ten games are set for Friday and 14 more on Saturday, plus the semifinals and championship games.
Games will have a 2-hour, 15-minute time limit, except for the semis and title game.
