Schools Should Cut Instead Of Ask For New Taxes - And Response

  • Saturday, March 21, 2015

No new taxes.  It's time that cuts be made or the school system and other government agencies learn to live within their means.  I have to live on a budget and they should have to also.

Every time you turn around, everyone is hollering "raise the property taxes."  I, for one, have had enough.  If this continues I will look outside this city for another residence.

If you want to be fair, do a $25 or $30 wheel tax, at least then you get everyone, not just the property owners.  We are tired of carrying the load by ourselves.

I say vote out anyone who votes for new taxes.  I know that will determine who I cast my vote for next election.

James,

I’m with you 100%.  As my father always said, “ it's easy to spend someone else’s money”.  The problem is most of the people in administrative positions asking for more money couldn’t run a lemonade stand successfully.
