Artice Powers
Artice R. Powers, 59, died on March 18, 2015 at his residence.
He was a graduate of Chattanooga High School in the class of 1973. He was employed at Norfolk Southern as a locomotive technician for 26 years. He was also a veteran of the United States Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roosevelt and Mary Powers; and brother, James Hutchens.
He is survived by one brother, Draydrian Powers; sisters, Marethia Hutchens, Margie Powers and Valencia Powers; two nephews; five nieces; and a host of other relatives, friends and co-workers.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 25, at noon.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-12 p.m., prior to the service in the chapel.
Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
