Abstracted Beauty Is April Exhibit At River Gallery

  • Monday, March 23, 2015

The artists in River Gallery's April exhibit "Abstracted Beauty" are Finnish artist Philip Laszlo and Georgia artist Algar Dole.

Review for Philip Laszio:

Philip Laszlo depicts the forgotten and discarded. Symbolized in vibrant abstracted photographs of landfills, Mr. Laszlo revitalizes and beautifies that which is cast off.   One hundred percent of Mr. Laszlo's net profit will go to Orange Grove Center of Chattanooga.

Review for Algar Dole:

Algar Dole uses Italian cane glass techniques to produce a vibrant array of work ranging from functional flowing vessels to sculptural objects.

Both of the artists will be present at the opening reception on Thursday, April 2, from 6:30-8 p.m.

Events are free and open to the public
