Chattanooga State Tigers
The Chattanooga State Tigers are scheduled to play the Chattanooga Lookouts on Tuesday, April 7, beginning at 6:15 p.m. at AT&T Field.
It will be the 10th Anniversary Exhibition Game between the Lookouts and the Tigers.
Chattanooga State officials said, "For the past 10 years, Chattanooga State has developed a substantial and rewarding relationship with the Chattanooga Lookouts. It began in 2005 when head coach Greg Dennis and former assistant coach Robert Long were tossing around ideas and thought about how 'cool' it would be for the Tigers to play the Lookouts in an exhibition game. Following discussions with former Lookouts owner Frank Burke, an agreement was reached and the annual exhibition game was born which continues today.
"Recent changes in ownership of the Lookouts include a new Major League Baseball affiliate – the Minnesota Twins; considered one of the best Minor League systems in baseball. With a new farm system and powerful players, the Tigers must be ready to compete at their highest level.
"The Tigers vs. Lookouts Exhibition Game became an instant hallmark tradition of the baseball program and has supplied countless hours of 'good times' for the past decade to thousands of fans. More than 3,200 people attended the game in 2014."
Tickets are on sale now for $5 each. Purchases can be made at the stadium or through Tiger Head Coach Greg Dennis at 423.697.2418.
