Armed Robberies At 2 Separate Waffle Houses Wednesday Morning

The Chattanooga Police Department is investigating two armed robberies which took place early Wednesday morning at two separate Waffle House locations.

The first robbery occurred at 6007 Shallowford Road, the second occurred at 7705 Lee Highway. Preliminary investigations lead police to believe that the two incidents are connected. 

The suspect brandished a weapon, demanded money and fled on foot during both robberies. No one was injured during the course of either robbery. 

The Chattanooga Police Department is following up on multiple leads.

The suspect is described as a black male around 6 feet tall and medium build. He was wearing a black hoodie, jeans and a covering over his face. 

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding either robbery to call 423 698-2525.  The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
