Funeral services will be Friday for an autistic nine-year-old boy from Dunlap who was struck by a train after he wandered away from his aunt's house in Sale Creek on Sunday night.
Timothy Douglas Wallace was a third-grade student at Griffith Elementary School in Dunlap.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wanda Joyce Brown and James Day.
Survivors include his father, Victor Wallace; mother, Lashawn Brown, Dunlap; grandparents, Sammy Lee Brown, Soddy-Daisy, Anna Faye Underwood, Dunlap and Anna Lois Long, Sale Creek; brothers, Josh Wallace, Matthew Wallace and Jacob Stennett, all of Michigan, Nathan Samuel Wallace and Casey Brown, Soddy Daisy; sisters, Sueanne Stennett, Dunlap, Destanie Clark and Lillian Clark, Hixson; uncle, Mitchell Lee Brown, Soddy Daisy; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. in the Ewton Funeral Home chapel in Dunlap with Bro.
Kevin Benoit officiating. Burial will be at Varner Cemetery in Soddy Daisy
Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Thursday.
