Taylor, Jimmie Lynn (Cleveland)

Jimmie Lynn Taylor, 85, of Cleveland, TN, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015 in a Chattanooga hospital.

Mr. Taylor was the son of the late Lucille Miller Taylor and James L. Taylor. He was a U. S. Army Veteran serving in the National Guard. He was retired from Magic Chef as an Engineer with over 40 years of service. After his retirement he worked for Sears in Bradley Square Mall with 17 years of service. Mr. Taylor loved to work and he enjoyed working in his vegetable garden and wood working. He was a member of the North Cleveland Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Esther Taylor of Cleveland; his daughters, Debbie Montgomery and her husband LeBron and Cindy Gibson and her husband Ron; his sons, James Taylor and James Evan Taylor all of Cleveland; his grandchildren, Erin Black and her husband Danny, Ali Taylor, Whitney Taylor, Brooklyn Taylor, Danielle Taylor, Anna Black and Micah Black; his sister, Wanda Watson of Cleveland; his brother, Charles Franklin Taylor and his wife Sue also of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.

The Remembrance of Life Graveside Service and Interment will be conducted Friday, March 27, at 12 p.m. from the Fort Hill Cemetery with Dr. Jay McCluskey officiating.

The Wildwood Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes has charge of the arrangements.
