Lisa Jo Bennett, 45, of Cleveland, TN, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2015. 

She was born in Cleveland, TN on April 15, 1969 to the late William and Connie Lyles.  Lisa spent some time in WV but has resided here for the past 13 years.  She enjoyed all types of crafts, specifically knitting and drawing.  Above all things, Lisa will be remembered as a very loving, caring, and generous person who would help anyone in need.  She was always compassionate toward others. 

In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Lois Gibbs.  

She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Michael Bennett; two daughters, Kherotee Bennett and Amanda Gatlin; son, Thomas Bennett; grandmother, Betty Merriman; aunt, Neljo Mullins; cousin, Angela Whitley; brother, Michael Lyles; sister, Carrie Lyles; five grandchildren, Shilah Gatlin, Lucas Gatlin, Gage Gatlin, Thomas Bennett II and River Carden; and several other extended family members and friends. 

A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, at Community Hall Church located at 1305 6th St NE, Cleveland, TN 37311 with Rev. Guinn Green and Pastor Jeannie Cissom officiating. 

The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday, March 28 from 1-6 p.m.

Companion Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
