The TechTown Spring Break Camp will be held at the Chattanooga Public Library next week. The camp will run Monday to Friday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on the Library's 4th Floor at 1001 Broad St.
Seventy Chattanooga area students ages 10 to 17 attending the sold-out camp will spend the week learning about videography, circuitry and robotics. These hands-on learning opportunities will allow students to build, play with and safely experiment with robotics and circuitry as well as filming and editing their creations.
"We know the interest level among students for technology camps is high and during spring break lots of parents are still working,” says Cordell Carter, TechTown CEO. “This camp will be fun, kids will learn at their own pace and meet new people. Our instructional focus is on self-guided learning and letting kids engage with the tools we provide. We help kids to experience the latest technology that they wouldn’t generally be able to access.”
TechTown is also offering five weeks of summer camps for students ages 7 to 17 starting Monday, June 29, through Friday, July 31. Registration is open for these camps focusing on coding, video game and website design, 3D printing, film and video production, robotics, circuitry and more. Parents can sign up at gotechtown.com/summer2015.
