Lucille Harris, 84, of Hixson, TN and formerly of Dayton, died Sunday, March 29, 2015.
She was born in Dayton to the late Maynard and Alice (Mickel) Sneed. Lucille was a hairdresser and homemaker. She was a member of the Christ Family Church in Soddy Daisy.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Clyde Harris of Soddy Daisy; two sons, Larry (Sherry) Harris of Hixson and Tony (Teresa) Harris of Rudy, AK; one daughter, Donna (Rick) Youngblood of Murfreesboro; two brothers, Dewey Sneed and Dennis Sneed; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Lucille will be held Wednesday, April 1 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Sam Youngblood officiating. She will be laid to rest in Rhea Memory Gardens followed by a white dove release.
The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton where they will receive friends Tuesday, March 31 from 6-8 p.m.
