Manda E. Scoggins, 66, of Birchwood, TN, passed away Monday morning, March 2, 2015, in a Chattanooga hospital.
Manda was the daughter of the late Willie Howard Womack and Jess Womack; and was also preceded in death by her sisters, Virginia Hogan and Sue Pendergrass.
Manda was retired from Jackson Chair Factory with 20 years of service. She enjoyed fishing, working in her yard and her flower beds. Manda attended the Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Joe “Tommy” Scoggins of Birchwood; her daughters, Marcie Pritchard and Tommie Lynn Scoggins; her son, Jessie Scoggins all of Birchwood; her grandchildren, Blake Hogan and John Shaver both of Birchwood; her sister, Jean Prentice and her husband Bobby of the Cottonport community in Meigs County; her brothers, Wayne Womack and his wife Retha, Scott Womack and his wife Lynn all of Birchwood; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, March 5 at the Wildwood Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes who has charge of the arrangements.
