Ladaris Green puts up a lay-up in Dalton State's win over Brewton-Parker

Montgomery, AL - The top seed Dalton State basketball team lived to play another day (Friday) after a Thursday night victory over Brewton Parker, 68-64 at the Camton Bowl Multiplex.

The Roadrunners advance to play the winner of a late Thursday night game between William Carey (Miss), who beat DS in triple overtime in Harrisburg, MS back in November, and Faulkner.

Dalton State had built a comfortable, but not confortable enough, lead in the second half. The Roadrunners went eight minutes without scoring. This allowed the Barons to go on a 13-point run to narrow the lead to four to 54-38.

Dalton State's Ladaris Green connected on his 11th double-double of the season with 18 points and 11 rebounds. He also had four blocks. Jordan Bowling had 16 points and six rebounds. Anthony Hilliard and Sean Tate scored 11 and ten points respectively. Preston Earle added eight.

The Baron's Cameron Bokenham had a game-high 20 points. Brewton-Parker was eliminated from the Southern States Athletic Conference Tournament.

Dalton State fans will be able to catch Friday's game on Mixx 104.5 FM or view the live video stream on the SSAC website.
