Hazel M. Brooks, of Ringgold, died on Friday, March 6, 2015.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Julie M. Lindon. She has been a resident of the Chattanooga area for many years and her warm, vibrant personality has touched many lives.
Hazel enjoyed sewing, making dolls, jewelry, and crafts. She was active in Mount Vernon Baptist Church in Ringgold and enjoyed being with her friends and will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Donald I. Brooks; daughter, Connie L. Pack; sons, Michael Stro and Dan Stro; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and brother, W. M. Vandegriff, of Virginia.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 11, with Pastor James W. Sprayberry officiating. Interment will be at 12:30 p.m. in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Pastor Chris Creswell officiating.
