GDOL To Help Audia Plastics Recruit Workers For New Plant In LaFayette

The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will help Audia Plastics hire about 60 manufacturing workers Friday, April 24, for a new plant under construction in LaFayette. The facility is set to be operational in the fall. The company manufactures plastic parts for automobiles.

The recruitment will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the LaFayette Housing Authority, 300 South Oak St. GDOL staff will be on hand to screen the applicants prior to interviews with the company.

The company is hiring for a number of positions, including personnel in shipping,   maintenance electronics and instrumentation, as well as shift supervisors, maintenance and process technicians, blenders, colorists, plant expeditors, and product support specialists.

Due to U.S.
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, applicants must be at least 18 years old. They must also have a high school diploma, or a General Education Diploma, and varying degrees of experience based on positions.


The company will conduct background checks and drug-screening tests on selected applicants.
