Charles Eugene Curvin, 63, of Hixson, died on Wednesday, April 8, 2015.

Charles served our country during the Vietnam War in the United States Army, was a lifetime member of the Vietnam Veterans Chapter 203 and volunteer at the Veterans Outpatient Clinic.  He retired from TVA.  Charles attended Stuart Heights Baptist Church and the Ambassador Sunday School Class. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Charles Curvin and Francis Lasley Curvin. 

Charles is survived by his wife, Linda Merrick Harrell Curvin; sisters, Joyce (Rodger) Long, Marquita (Charlie) Farley and Sherry Lynn Curvin; brother, Terry (Shirley) Curvin; stepson, Sheldon (Michelle) Harrell and step granddaughters, Aston and Kayla; several nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

A celebration of life service will follow at 3 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home chapel with Reverend Melvin Walker officiating.   

Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Wade, Eugene, Bill Curvin, Charles Long, Robert Long and Bill Hatfield serving as pallbearers. 

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
