The Chattanooga Chamber will host two free How To Get A Job 101 sessions Thursday, April 30. Human resources directors from local business and industry will present information on topics ranging from resume writing and online applications to interviewing and appropriate follow-up.
“We are offering these sessions at the request of local employers who have participated in our previous job fairs,” said Rob Bradham, Chamber Vice President of Public Strategies. “Through efforts like this, the Chamber supports local workforce development, benefitting both job seekers and employers.”
Session 1 will be held from 8:30-11:30 a.m., with Session 2 from 1:30-4:30 p.m., both at Brainerd Crossroads (BX) located at 4011 Austin Street.
Participants will receive a name badge to present at the May 7 Spring Job Fair indicating session completion to potential employers.
Registration is required to attend sessions. Register by emailing name, phone number and preferred session to careercenterinfo@sedev.org.
