Davenport Arrested For Homicide In Cleveland

  • Tuesday, April 14, 2015

Cleveland Police Department officers were called to the 1500 block of Goode St. in reference to a death investigation Tuesday morning.

When officers arrived they found one white man dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

Close to the same time police were investigating the homicide, they received a call about a crash close to the residence on Goode Street. Officers investigated the crash and determined that Sean Angelo Davenport, 43, lived at the home on Goode Street where the shooting took place and was possibly involved in the shooting.

Davenport was transported to a local hospital to be treated for minor injuries. After his release from the hospital, he was formally charged with second-degree murder and taken into custody.

A firearm was located inside his vehicle, which is believed to have been used in the homicide, said police.
