The Southern Conference women’s tennis regular season title is on the line this weekend when the Chattanooga Mocs host Samford at the UTC Tennis Courts. First serve is set for 1:00 p.m. (E.D.T.) in the regular season finale for both teams.
UTC is closing out one of its best seasons in recent history. The Mocs are 17-2 overall and unbeaten in SoCon play at 5-0. Samford is 12-8 and also undefeated in league play at 6-0. Chattanooga will play one less conference match afterSunday’s rainout at Mercer.
The annual team cookout is schedule for Saturday, but the indoor courts at Manker Patten is the backup site for the contest in case inclement weather hits the area. Live scoring is available on the women’s tennis schedule page on GoMocs.com
Saturday is also Senior Day for the Mocs. Kaylene Chadwell, Claire Mulyadi and Jovanna Pecovski close out their home careers against the Bulldogs.
