Tennessee PTA Announces Outstanding Award Winners

Tennessee PTA is announced that it will present the following education leaders with a 2015 Tennessee PTA Outstanding Award at its annual awards banquet on Saturday, April 25, at 7:30 p.m. at the Embassy Suites-Hamilton Place.

? 2015 Tennessee PTA Outstanding Legislator - State Senator Bo Watson (District 11 - Chattanooga)
? 2015 Tennessee PTA Outstanding Superintendent – Rick Smith, Hamilton County Schools
? 2015 Tennessee PTA Outstanding School Board Member – Dr.
Greg Martin, Hamilton County School Board
? 2015 Tennessee PTA Outstanding Principal – Brad Corum, Karns Middle School, Knoxville
? 2015 Tennessee PTA Outstanding Teacher – Tracy Eaton, Karns Middle School, Knoxville

Tennessee PTA will also hand out the following school and council awards at the banquet.

? Local Unit Membership Awards
? Mary Jo Clark Volunteer Service Award
? Outstanding Council
? Outstanding Local Unit - Elementary, Middle and High School

The annual awards banquet will be part of the 102nd Annual Tennessee PTA Convention which will be held at the Embassy Suites-Hamilton Place. The public is invited to attend the banquet. Tickets are $60 a person. To make a reservation, send a check to the Tennessee PTA State Office, 1905 Acklen Ave., Nashville, Tennessee, 37212. Reservations are due by Friday.
