The local chapter of Physicians for a National Health Plan will meet on Monday at 6 p.m. at the Program for All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly, 425 Cumberland St., (administrative entrance).

All physicians, nurse practitioners and other health care providers are invited to attend.

Officials said, "PNHP believes that all U.S. citizens have a right to health care provided by a Medicare-like program that would help mitigate unnecessary U.S. health delivery costs. After a recent presentation by Dr.

Laura Helfman of PNHP, the Chattanooga Central Labor Council voted to endorse HR 676, the Expanded and Improved Medicare for All Act that has been introduced in Congress."
