The Baylor boys won the doubles point and went on to defeat host McCallie, 5-2, in a non-region match Thursday.
In doubles with it 1-1, Baylor’s No.2 team of Patrick Toomey-Cooper long rallied from down 5-4 to win 8-6 and clinch the team point heading into singles.
McCallie (4-6) posted singles wins at No.1 (Cody Gubin) and No.6 (Charlie Thel) to go up 2-1, but the Red Raiders (6-3) won the remaining four matches.
The two teams meet May 6 in a D-II Middle/East Region match.
