The Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum is expanding the number of dinner train dates it will be running in 2015.
"Our dinner trains are one of the most requested excursions we provide during the year and people can't get enough of the experience", said Steve Freer, spokesperson for TVRM. "The quality of the food, combined with the unique atmosphere of dining in a 1920's era car, is just what people desire to create a memorable evening while on vacation", he added. TVRM just announced its inaugural Mother's Day dinner trains for
Sunday, May 10th at 1:30 p.m.
and 5:30 p.m.
The Dinner on The Diner excursions are scheduled on Saturdays from April-November. The two-hour dinner trip seating is at 5:30 pm and leaves from Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum's Grand Junction Depot located off Jersey Pike, minutes from I-75. Patrons enjoy a three course meal served in a fine dining atmosphere. Meal options include your choice of roast beef in madeira sauce, roast herb chicken or salmon. Mashed potatoes and a vegetable medley accompany each entree and dessert of your choice. Tickets start at $59 per person and the gratuity is included in the ticket price. Special holiday dinner trains are also run during Christmas and New Year's Eve and make for a wonderful addition to any vacation in Chattanooga.
