5th Annual See Spot Run K-9 5K Fun Run To Be Held Sunday

Animal Medical Professionals of Ooltewah are sponsoring the 5th Annual See Spot Run K-9 5k Fun Run on Sunday at Veterans Memorial Park in Collegedale at 9 a.m.

Every participant entry fee benefits the AMP Angel Fund. "The Angel Fund is used to help our community care for their furry loved ones in times of great need. The fund has helped 20-30 dogs and cats a year since 2006 and assisted more than 500 dogs in our community get a free rabies vaccine. The Angel Fund supports our community after natural disasters when many injured pets need immediate care or animals that have serious conditions with no one to care for them," officials said.

Registration online at Active.com is $20 or $25 on the day of the race. Sponsor fee is $100 and includes an opportunity to set up a booth, a mention on Facebook, and 10 raffle tickets. Vendor fee is $30 and includes an opportunity to set up a booth and a mention on Facebook.

Officials said, "Since this is a fun run you can walk, jog, or run at your own pace. Bring your dog and the whole family and support the needy pets in our community." All K-9 participants must be current on their rabies vaccination.
