German Economic Minister To Participate In Roundtable Discussion At Chattanooga Chamber

The Economic Affairs minister from the German state of Lower Saxony is leading a visit to Chattanooga and will be hosted for a roundtable discussion at the Chattanooga Chamber offices Tuesday afternoon.

 

Those participating will be Minister Olaf Lies, Lower Saxony's Minister of Economic Affairs, Labor and Transport and member of the Volkswagen AG Supervisory Board, Bill Kilbride, CEO Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce, Charles Wood, vice president, Economic Development, Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce. Guests will be making presentations representing Wacker, Schnellecke and B+M Systems. Representatives of several business, university and government officials from Lower Saxony will also be present. 

 

Roundtable discussion will be between the visiting German delegation and Chattanooga representatives concerning economic development and further German development in Chattanooga and case studies presented by local companies.

The Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce is at 811 Broad Street, and the discussion will be at 4 p.m.
