FirstBank Raised $7,154 In Donations For Goodwill

  • Wednesday, April 22, 2015

FirstBank announced the final numbers from a month-long Goodwill donation drive.  In total, FirstBank raised $7,154 worth of donations which will put 8 people into jobs this year.

"FirstBank is very involved in our communities and always takes the opportunity to give back when we can. I’m so happy we were able to accomplish this as a team. We know that every little bit helps and makes a difference,” said FirstBank's Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations, Jordan Waldron.

Throughout the month of March, 18 FirstBank branches across Tennessee housed Goodwill bins in their lobbies to raise awareness and encourage employees and customers to bring donations.    Goodwill collected these bins of gently used clothes and household items and calculated the total amount based on their donation criteria.
