Ooltewah Softball Wins District Contest Over McMinn County

Freshman Kayla Boseman pitched a one-hitter and struck out 13 in a 4-0 Lady Owl victory over district foe McMinn County on Wednesday.

Tiera Lemon was 2-4 with two runs scored, and Allie Jones also was 2-4 with two runs batted in.

Catcher Summer Williams was 2-3 and scored a run for Ooltewah.

Mabry Carpenter was also 2-3.

Ooltewah improves to 23-5, 7-2.

The Lady Owls travel to Bradley Central on Thursday.
