Bobby G. Deal, 78, lifelong resident of the Hixson area, died peacefully at his home on Thursday, April 23, 2015.
He retired in 1998 as maintenance superintendent of Hixson Utility District after 33 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Emma Lee Deal; sons, Robert Eugene Deal, Jerry Arthur Deal (Darlene), John Thomas Deal (Kim); sister, Nancy Prestwood; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 26, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 2-6 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, at the funeral home.
