Nashville – Runners from around the country will compete in the St.

Jude Country Music Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K 
in downtown Nashville and will finish at LP Field.

April 25-26

South Pittsburg – The annual National Cornbread Festival offers craft vendors, food, music, and, of course, lots of cornbread in downtown South Pittsburg.

April 28

Nashville – Guests can dress up as their favorite characters in Animal House for the film screening with food specials that are “All Greek” and drink specials of Pabst Blue Ribbon tallboys and Jack Daniels cocktails 8 p.m. at South Street.

April 28-29

Memphis – The global music sensation Celtic Woman celebrates its 10th Anniversary tour to audiences 7 p.m. at The Orpheum Theatre.

April 29

Nashville – The Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum hard rock Godsmack will perform 8 p.m. at the War Memorial Auditorium.

April 29-May 3

Memphis – Be there for the Bass Pro Shops at the Pyramid Grand Opening for live music, shopping, a peek into the special attractions including glass observation decks, a 28-story glass elevator, the tallest freestanding elevator in America, and 13 full lanes of bowling.

April 29-May 7

Crossville – Participate in a dinner theatre event as Dealt a Deadly Hand: Murder at the Pocono Royale Casino is performed with doors open at 5:30 p.m., dinner at 6:30 p.m. and show following at the Cumberland County Playhouse.

Knoxville – Experience “Reconstruction Tennessee” through discussions, keynote speech, living history, and a performance by world-renowned Fisk Jubilee Singers during the 2015 Tennessee Civil War Sesquicentennial Signature Event at various historic sites and downtown Knoxville.

Chattanooga – Celebrate bluegrass music in honor of Thomas “Boxcar” Pinion at the Boxcar Pinion Memorial Bluegrass Festival at the Raccoon Mountain Campground.

Granville – Journey to the Promised Land is an outdoor play that tells the stories of the first settlers of Granville at the Historic Granville Pioneer Village.

May 1

Pigeon Forge – See Dolly Parton during the 30th annual Dolly’s Homecoming Parade 6 p.m. along the Pigeon Forge Parkway.

Jonesborough – A Watercolor Art Party will include hors d’oeuvres and beverages as attendees create their art pieces 6-9 p.m. at the McKinney Center. Tickets are $60 per person, $100 per couple.

Collierville – Enjoy a family movie night under the stars as Planes: Fire & Rescue rated PG plays at dusk at Carriage Crossing’s Central Park.

Brownsville – Food, games, live music, and a Mexican Hat Dance competition will be featured at the 5th annual Cinco Heritage Celebration 6 p.m. on the south side of the Court Square in downtown Brownsville.

Knoxville – See local photographer Bruce McCamish’s latest works 5-8 p.m. and live music by Steelism 7 p.m. on the WDVX stage at the Downtown Knoxville Visitors Center.

Hohenwald – Enjoy handcrafted goods, vintage wares, and more at the Hohenwald Springfest in the Hohenwald Community Building in Memorial Park.

May 1-2, 8-9

Spring City – Disney’s Little Mermaid, Jr. will be performed for audiences at the Tennessee Valley Theatre. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for students and $5 for children under six years old.

Millington – See racers battle it out at the Summit Pro-Am Tour at Memphis International Raceway.

May 2

Nashville – The last gardening class “Yes You Can Can” will delve into home preserving and canning and pickling 11 a.m. in the Grassmere Historic Farm at the Nashville Zoo.

Covington – May Festival will include music, food, guided garden tours, and more 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial & Nature Center.

Granville – Celebrate the Roaring 20’s with the inaugural Cornbread & Moonshine Festival with the Cornbread Lane, pioneer meals, demonstrations, and more all day long in downtown Granville.

Dunlap – Special activities, pageant, car show, shopping, food and music are part of ValleyFest in downtown Dunlap.

Murfreesboro – Food, beverages, and Latin music will be the highlights of the Oaklands Spring Fiesta 6:30 p.m. at the Oaklands Mansion.

May 5

Townsend – Hear of the Life and Times of Sequoyah: Forging a Syllabary by Charlie Rhodarmer of the Sequoyah Museum 2 p.m. at the Great Smoky Mountains Heritage Center.

May 5-6, 12-14

Jonesborough – The original 1883 story of Pinocchio story will be told in The Commedia Pinocchio by the Jonesborough Repertory Theatre Players at the Jonesborough Repertory Theatre.

May 7

Maryville – The Craggy Top Brass Quintet features a tuba, alto horn, trumpets, and a trombone for some great music 7 p.m. at the Blount County Public Library.

Franklin – The 4th annual Voices for Children fundraiser will take place as Grammy-winning songwriter and host Brett James will welcome his musically-inclined friends 6:30 p.m.at The Franklin Theatre.

Knoxville – Enjoy a Brown Bag lecture A Tale of Three Valleys by Mark Davidson as he discusses interesting areas of the Great Smoky Mountains noon at the East Tennessee History Center. The event is free and open to the public.

May 8

Memphis – Girl’s Night Out will feature sewing classes, an obstacle course, a fashion show, karaoke, mini massages and manicures, and line dancing 6-9 p.m. at The Children’s Museum of Memphis. Tickets are $25.

Jackson – Enjoy a free concert as The Kimberlie Helton Band performs 7 p.m. at The Amp.

May 8-31

Memphis – Cole Porter’s greatest score Kiss Me, Kate is modeled after Shakespeare’s “Taming of the Shrew” at the Playhouse on the Square.

May 10

Nashville – See how science is used to solve crimes during Crime Scene Chemistry as part of the “Young Chemist” series 3 p.m. at Adventure Science Center.

Nashville – Last chance to see exhibitions Houghton Hall and Tina Barney: The Europeans before they close at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts.

Nashville – The closest to ABBA audiences will get, ABBA The Concert: A Tribute to ABBA will be performed for audiences 7:30 p.m. at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center.

Pigeon Forge – See antique toys and cars at The Smoky Mountain Pedal Car at Country Cascades.

May 14

Gatlinburg – Appalachian culinary past is celebrated at the Beans ‘n Cornbread Festival presented by Bush Brothers Beans with samples of different recipes, a cook off and mountain music 4-8 p.m. in downtown Gatlinburg.

Sevierville – Bloomin’ BBQ & Bluegrass Festival features delicious barbecue and lots of music in downtown Sevierville.
