Dorothy Anne Hickman Peele died on Sunday, March 29, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

She was born on September 26, 1933 in St. Augustine, FL, where she spent most of her childhood and adulthood. Dorothy will be best remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and caregiver. She was a faithful member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. 

Dorothy was preceded in death by her mother, Bernice Hickman and brother, James Hickman.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Raymond T. Peele; her daughters, Peggy Morrow and Judith Williams; her grandchildren, Sanford and Kristen Morrow, Darcey Williams, Matthew Morrow, Kelsey Williams, and Sally Morrow; and her sisters, Mary Lou Hartley of St. Augustine, FL, and Helen Shriner of Cookeville, TN.

A prayer service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3-4 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.

Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 404 South Moore Road.
