JAN-Pro Expands Commercial Cleaning Franchise

  • Monday, April 27, 2015

Throughout 2014, JAN-PRO expanded its network of more than 10,000 owner-operators across the United States with a focus in Chattanooga. JAN-PRO janitorial franchises serve offices, health care facilities, schools and other commercial spaces.  Most recently, JAN-PRO has succeeded in its social media efforts with new Regional Master Franchisee Anthony Burton, modeling an approach for other Chattanooga businesses to follow, said officials.

Mr. Burton has been working in the janitorial industry for 29 years, working in the operations department in Atlanta for 10 years before working as the director of operations for the JAN-PRO corporate office.  As director of operations, Mr. Burton traveled to over 100 offices to help new employees understand the JAN-PRO model.  Through his exposure, Mr. Burton learned not only how to communicate with employees and franchisees but also the clients, aiding him in the current success of his Facebook outreach, said officials.

“As the fastest growing commercial cleaning franchise, JAN-PRO is constantly seeking new owners who will invest in the communities they serve,” said Rich Kissane, chief executive of Premium Franchise Brands, parent company to JAN-PRO and sister residential-cleaning brand Maid Right. “We are thrilled to hear about the success that Anthony is having in the Chattanooga market, and we’re excited about the growth opportunities he’s creating through social media.  People in Chattanooga are drawn to his posts.  It’s not just about expansion with him; it’s about building relationships and understanding the community.”

“I’ve worked with JAN-PRO for a good portion of my career, first in the Atlanta office and then in the corporate office,” said Mr. Burton.  “I trust the company and I know how capable we are of succeeding in the Chattanooga market with their business model.  My focus is to build a brand that people in Chattanooga recognize and it resonates with them.  After I’ve done that in Chattanooga, then I can talk about expanding outside of the city.”
