CCS Seniors Lead Chargers To 8-4 Baseball Win

The Chattanooga Christian School baseball team celebrated senior night with an 8-4 win over Red Bank on Monday.  

The seniors led the team with eight of the teams 11 hits. 

Zach Mercer, Josh Taylor and Mac Cochran all had two hits.  Mercer and Cochran also scored two runs. 

Senior Jared Miller had two RBI's. 

Zach Mercer pitched two innings, striking out three and allowing no hits.  

CCS led 2-1 after the fourth inning but scored six in the fifth inning.  Red Bank was held to six hits.

Seniors honored before the game were Dylan Johnson, Josh Taylor, Mac Cochran, Zach Mercer, Jared Miller and Jack Bosworth.

 CCS improves to 22-2 on the season.
