East Ridge's Todd Morrow Takes Win At Talladega Short Track

The points season began Saturday night at the Talladega (AL) Short Track and dirt Late Model ace Todd Morrow of East Ridge put his new team in victory lane for the first time this season.

Known as the "Blonde Bomber" in racing circles around the South, Morrow captured the Super Late Model (SLM) checkered flag driving Tommy Pope's # T1 "Pope Construction, Old Mans Garage, Phillips Properties, A-Plus Collision Center, Coulter Racecars & Parts, Southern Steel products" sponsored racecar winning over local racer Tim Roszell and Jake Knowles of Rome, Ga.

According to his website www.ToddMorrowRacing.com the team is slated for competition with the Southern All-Star series who's next race isn't until the end of April. Morrow's fans can also follow along with him on his Facebook page.
