The films that were referenced included “Finding Nemo,” “The Incredibles,” “Up,” and the “Toy Story” saga.

Dr. Salyer earned a master’s in communication from Regent University and his bachelor’s degree in telecommunications from Lee.
Dr. Salyer teaches communications courses at Lee, but has worked in various media roles for more than 15 years. In January, he was named director of Media Services at Lee.

“I have had the biggest support system, from my family to my colleagues in Media Services and Communication Arts to Dr. Conn and all of the administrators and faculty across campus,” Dr. Salyer said.

Dr. Salyer has been married to his wife, April, for almost 15 years and they have two children, Abigail, 7 and Brantley, 3.
