The Baylor soccer team used two first half goals to defeat host Father Ryan Friday in a D-II Middle/East Region match.
Baylor improves to 11-3-2 overall and 4-1-1 in region play.
They also won the coin toss at MBA whcih gives them a two seed going into post season play. Baylor will have a first round bye and then play the winner of Pope John Paul II-Ensworth match.
In Friday's win over Father Ryan, Kyle Johnson scored both goals. The first came in the 12th minute off a penalty kick. The second came in the 34th minute off an assist from George Pettway.
"I am proud that we went on the road and got a big region road win," Baylor head coach Curtis Blair said. "It is always difficult to travel in our region. We did a great job of defending and not giving up goal. Now we will get a bye."
