Erlanger Starbucks “Toast” Set For Monday Morning In The Medical Mall

  • Friday, May 1, 2015

Erlanger and Aramark officials will hoist their distinctive Starbucks cups and officially toast the grand opening of the new Starbucks Coffee lounge and café in Erlanger’s Medical Mall on Monday, at 11 a.m.  Free samples of Starbucks coffee and tea will also be distributed throughout the day to those passing through Erlanger’s newest café, according to Aramark Retail Director Ryan Shinn.

The grand opening of Erlanger’s new Starbucks Coffee lounge, the only hospital-based Starbucks in the region, represents the first phase of a major remodeling and expansion of Aramark’s food service operations throughout the Erlanger health system. Once completed, Erlanger employees, physicians, patients and visitors will be able to enjoy a variety of dining options, including Chattanooga’s first Au Bon Pain restaurant, also located in the Medical Mall, along with Chick-fil-a, SUBWAY, Mein Bowl and other food service options.

Current hours of operation at Erlanger’s Starbucks are 6 a.m. through 5 p.m.Monday through Friday, with plans to offer limited weekend hours in the future, as well as extended weekday operating hours.  In addition to standard Starbucks coffee, tea and pastry menu items, Erlanger’s expanded Starbucks Coffee shop also offers a variety of lunch items including paninis.  Able to accommodate 60 customers, the new café also features two registers and two Espresso machines, as well as lounge seating at the entrance to the Medical Mall.
