Farrell Hale
Farrell Elaine Chase Hale of Chattanooga, died on May 13, 2015.

Farrell was born on Aug. 8, 1935 in LaGrange, Ga. She grew up in Oak Ridge, Tn., but was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga. Farrell was known by her family as Mama, and Granny Farrell. Her many loves were her family, pets and fishing at the lake.

Farrell was a social worker for the state of Georgia and retired in 1999. She was a member of the Mountain Creek Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Loma and Irvin Chase, brothers, Chadwick Chase of Chattanooga and Darrell Chase of Chattanooga, and sister, Mary Chase Morgan of Charlotte, NC.

Survivors include her two daughters, Lynn Anderson (John), Jennifer Crowell (Barry), both of Signal Mountain; two sons, Kenneth Hale (Theresa), and Jeff Hale, both of Hixson; grandchildren: Keith Hale, Chris Land (Dawn), Jason Land (Wendy), and Dr. Lacy Windham (Eric); great-grandchildren: Chase Hale, Logan Land, Hanna Land, Maddison Land, Lee Windham, Lake Windham, Lark Windham, D.J. Bifferato (Adam), and Allison Hale; great-great-grandchildren, twins Vinnabell and Azlee Bifferato.

The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, at Hamilton Funeral Home, prior to services.

A memorial will be on Sunday, May 17, at 5 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 4506 Hixson Pike, Hixson, Tn. 37377.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at RedBank LifeCare Facility for the friendship and for the care they provided their beloved mother and grandmother.
