Richard Eugene Alford, 76, of Georgetown, TN, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2015 at his home.
He was born in Marion, In on June 23, 1938 a son of the late Leon and Mary Alford. Richard was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed driving his tractor, gardening and watching the races.
In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his special dog "Toby".
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Joy Alford; one son, Richard Alford; three daughters, Mary Johnson, Angela Anderson and Maschelle Grayson; one sister, Shirley Zirkle; two step-sons, Klaus Schroeder and Lee Olmstead; two step-daughters, Jeannie Gilbert and Donna Brown; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; numerous other extended family members; and a host of special friends.
A memorial service was held at the family home on Saturday, May 16.
