When the NCCAA World Series begins on Wednesday the Lee baseball club will be seeded No. 2 and in Pool B along with Oklahoma Christian, Bethesda (Calif.), Trinity Christian (Chicago) and Oakland City (Ind.). Pool A will consist of top-seeded Fresno Pacific (Calif.), Palm Beach Atlantic (Fla.), Central Baptist (Ark.), Tocooa Falls (Ga.) and Bluefield College (Va.).
Each team in the 10-team field will play two games in their own pool on Wednesday and two more games in their poll on Thursday.
The winner of Pool A will be play the runner-up of Pool B on Friday at 5 p.m. The winner of Pool B will play the runner-up from Pool A on Friday at 8 p.m. The championship game is scheduled for Saturday at 1 p.m.
Fresno Pacific defeated Lee in the championship game last year and returns another strong NCAA Division II club to this year's event. Lee, Oklahoma Christian, Palm Beach Atlantic and Oakland City and other colleges working their way through the NCAA Division II provisional period or are already full members of NCAA.
The World Series will be played at Prasco Park in Mason, Ohio. The park consists of the main stadium and Legacy Field, located beside the main stadium. The Flames will open play at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Legacy Field, facing Trinity Christian. They will play their second game on Wednesday at 8 p.m., facing Bethesda at Legacy Field. On Thursday Lee will move to Prasco Park and test Oakland City at 2 p.m. The Flames will close out pool play on Thursday evening at 8 p.m. against third-seeded Oklahoma Christian.
