Jewell Dean Henson Jackson, 82, of LaFayette, Georgia, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015.
Dean was born on August 6, 1932 to the late George and Ora Henson. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Winston “Stonewall” Jackson; daughters and sons-in-law, Donna (Ed) Jackson Serine of Fairfax, VA, Dianne Jackson Whittemore of LaFayette, Darlene (Greg) Jackson Guthrie of Lakemont, GA and Gayle (Sam) Halverson Roistacher of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Tammy Smith, Alison Brewer, Angie Roistacher, Travis Whittemore, Tanya West, Rachel Henderson, Amanda Kizziah, Scott Guthrie and Samantha Guthrie; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Wallis Memorial Chapel will be Tuesday, May 19, at 4 p.m. Interment will follow in the Gordy Memorial Gardens in Tunnel Hill.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, May 18 from 6-8 p.m.
