Clifford Aldene Bryant, 92, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the Gardens of Royal Oaks in Dalton.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy “Dot” Duckworth Bryant; and parents, H. M. & Annie Bryant.
Mr. Bryant was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Estelle Hollis Bryant of the residence; three daughters & sons-in-law, Teressa & Harvey Evans, Jana & David Osborne, all of Dalton and Myra Garland of Winston, GA; one step-daughter and Husband, Cheryll & David Ritchie of Humble, TX; sister, Annie Ruth Cole of Dalton; brother and sister-in-law, Winfred & Frances Bryant of Dalton; four grandchildren, Jason Evans, Matthew Garland, Stephanie & Shawn McGill and Jake Osborne; one great-granddaughter, Addison McGill; and nieces and nephews.
The funeral service to celebrate the life of Clifford Aldene Bryant will be held Tuesday, May 19, at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Mullis officiating. Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, May 18 from 5-8 p.m.
