Arlene Dale Long, 74, East Brainerd died on May 18, 2015 at his home.
A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, Dale retired from Capital Toyota after 30 years of service.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the VFW Post 1289.
Dale was preceded in death by his mother, Bessie Carroll; brothers, Austin, Glenn and Freddie Long; sisters, Kathlene Harmon, Charlotte Harvey and Phyllis Patty.
Survivors are his wife, Teresa Long; son, Chris (Jean) Long, Charlotte, N.C.; sisters, Ann Emanuel, The Colony, TX, Glenda (Lonnie) Jeffers, McDonald, TN and Nancy Amalene (Robert) Long, Ooltewah; brothers, Bill Long, Decatur, AL, and Eddie (Donna) Long, Apison; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Thursday, May 21, at 2 p.m. at the National Cemetery with Reverend Mark Smith officiating. Pallbearers will be Eddie Long, Ray Pentecost, Jack Blackwell, Gerald Minton, Grayson Doss and Larry Helms.
