The game started very well for CCS on Tuesday in the Class A/AA state quarterfinals in Murfreesboro but did not end well. Sheffield came back from a 2-0 deficit to beat CCS 3-2 in golden goal overtime.
CCS sophomore Drew Bolano scored two goals in the first three minutes of the game to give CCS a 2-0 lead. But Sheffield answered minutes later to pull with in one and evened the score at two in the 31st minute.
Neither team would score until the final five minutes of golden goal overtime when Sheffield's Ibrihima Dia scored the game winner.

CCS ends their season with an 8-10-2 record. Sheffield advanced to play CAK on Wednesday.
In other Class A/AA scored, CAK beat Page 2-0, CPA beat Mufreesboro Central 3-1 and Greeneville beat Madison Magnet 2-1.
